I just want to take a second and congratulate Jonah Weiland and Comic Book Resources for their Eisner win. Frankly since the re-design during New York Comic Con in April 2008, I really hoped that this year would be the year that CBR would take the award home, and frankly, it was long overdue.

Second, I want to congratulate Matt Fraction and Salvador Larroca on their excellent win for Best New Series for “Invincible Iron Man.”

Third, to Rantz Hoseley and everyone who contributed to “Comic Book Tattoo” frankly, it would have been a travesty if they did NOT win. Now let’s get Ivan Brandon’s “24Seven” an anthology award. If there is going to be a third volume….
