Superman coming to “Chuck.”
Brandon Routh is joining Chuck, according to Michael Ausiello of EW.
Routh’s character, Shaw, is a mysterious new spy who takes control as the new leader of Operation Bartwoski, becoming a mentor to Chuck and a rival in his affections for Sarah. He first appears in this season’s fourth episode.
Bottom line: Who better to teach Chuck how to use his powers that the Man of Steel himself?!
Memo to NBC: Please don’t make us wait until March for Chuck!
Soon enough, we’re going to have to stop referring to him as Superman, because not only is he playing Dylan Dog but he’s getting around to a couple of other roles. I was one of the few people to see Zack and Miri Make a Porno and the scene between Routh, Justin Long and Seth Rogen had to be the funniest bits in the entire movie. I also think that movie is Kevin Smith doing Judd Apatow but really funny, since you all asked. Regardless, I expect Routh to do an excellent job, and considering Chuck is one of the most fun shows on television, I’m even more fired up for the new season. Which may start in March, according to Ausiello, and I say BOO to that.
Alex Tse talks “Watchmen” and “Battling Boy” screenplays.

Alex Tse was one of the people to streamline the Watchmen screenplay, and talking to ScriptPhD, is working with Paul Pope on the Battling Boy script. Except, Tse notes, the book with which Pope is handling for FirstSecond Books is not yet complete.
I’m working on Battling Boy right now. It’s been an interesting and fun process to work with Paul Pope. With anything in the film business, all I can do is my job, which is to write the best film script that I can, and getting a movie made is like winning the lottery. There’s so many moving parts.
SPhD: And you’re writing the movie at the same time as the graphic novel is being written, right?
AT: Yeah, I think the novel is getting released next year. I’m not sure what percentage [Paul] is done with, but it’s in the process. So that’s been interesting for both of us, but a lot of fun because he’s a great guy and really visionary.
To be honest, we’re all looking forward to how this book and this movie turns out. Regardless, if you’re into that kind of thing there is a ton of interesting tidbits in the interview regarding adapting Alan Moore’s Masterpiece.
Fox News claims the Loch Ness Monster exists.

My Dad sent this to me, because clearly, what would I be doing watching Fox News? Regardless, this is a pretty interesting story rooted in science fiction. And I love mysteries like the Loch Ness Monster; I DVR Ghost Hunters I just love this kind of stuff. So check this out:
This amazing image on Google Earth could be the elusive proof that the Loch Ness Monster exists.
Sun reader Jason Cooke spotted “Nessie” while browsing the Web site’s satellite photos.
The shape seen on the surface of the 22-mile Scottish loch is 65ft long and appears to have an oval body, a tail and four legs or flippers.
Some experts believe Nessie may be a Plesiosaur, an extinct marine reptile with a shape like the Google image.
“This is really intriguing. It needs further study,” said researcher Adrian Shine, of the Loch Ness Project.
Sightings have been claimed for centuries.
To see the object, enter co-ordinates Latitude 57°12’52.13″N, Longitude 4°34’14.16″W in Google Earth.
I don’t know, this looks like a boat to me, with a trail of waves behind it, but I just wish they’d use attribution on the 65ft long body. Regardless its fun to think about.
