Good thing, because he will be playing Spider-Man’s penultimate nemesis, Norman Osborn in Julie Taymor’s Broadway show, “Spider-Man: Turn off the Dark.” Also announced with Cumming, via press release, Evan Rachel Wood (currently starring in Woody Allen’s “Whatever Works”) will be playing the Wallcrawler’s love, Mary Jane Watson.

Tribute: Jim Mahfood’s Michael Jackson.

Behind the scenes of the “Scott Pilgrim vs the World” movie.

Besides “Iron Man 2,” I personally can’t wait for the film version of Bryan Lee O’Malley’s “Scott Pilgrim” to come out.  Directed by Edgar Wright, the movie stars Michael Cera as our lovable loser Scott Pilgrim, Mary Elizabeth Winstead as Ramona Flowers, and every other 20-something up-and-coming actor in Hollywood.
Wright, director of “Shaun of the [...]

“The Maxx” streaming live (and free) on MTV.

I think I’m dating myself with this one.  Way back when, I must have been in 8th grade or so, MTV had this spectacular late-night animation series called Oddities. (Think Adult Swim ten years before the fact). They aired such classics as “Aeon Flux” and this show, Sam Kieth’s “The Maxx”.
Based on Kieth’s Image Comics [...]
